Q: What the heck is That Game Show Place?!
A: We are Florida's 1st Game Show Studio! A place where friends, family, co-workers or just about anyone, can come and play TV style game shows in groups against each other! There are video and sound effects, real buzzers, and a real host! It's fun, interactive and great for anyone age 10+. (coming soon) Best of all, at your option, your friends and family can watch from home on our YouTube channel!(coming soon)
Q: What is the minimum amount of players required to play?
A: Since this is a private booking, 10 players is the minimum required. Bookings can have up to 54 players.
Q: Is it just one game per visit or can we play multiple?
A: The more games the better! In a normal session we can do 5-7 games depending on the amount of guests. Each game is done as a round, and each round a point is awarded to one of he two teams. At the end the winner gets a Game Show Place Winner Poster!
Q: How long do we play for?
A: Our standard package is 60 min of play. (total session time is 75 min, including check in etc) You can also choose from our additional packages which offer as much as 2.5 hours total, including time for cake and other activities.
Q: Can people just come watch others play?
A: Unfortunately no. We only allow players in the studio.
Q: How much does it cost?
A; Prices vary by date and package selected, but all options and prices are listed on the site under the BOOK NOW tab.
We also have a complimentary photo booth which can be customized to your booking. We also offer discounts to schools, Not-For-Profits, networking groups, all military, police, EMT, fire and 1st responders. To inquire about special discounts please call or text Christy at 516.852.5942
Q: Is it good for kids and teenagers?
A: ABSOLUTELY! Ages 10 and up love our games! Our young adult format is different from our normal routine and it's a lot of fun! We dive into content they know like social media stars, music & movies, pop culture, Disney & more with games like Speed Trivia & Quiz Show. Then we test their buzzer skills with games like Bang The Buzzer, where the pirate is after your cold hard cash, or Eliminator where they have to get their friends out in order to stay in! We end with 20 Second Challenge and NY Minute; games where they do small challenges before the buzzer runs out!
Q: My guests don't know about sports or Disney or pop culture; now what?
A: Not to worry! We have a wide range of content that can work for any group or crowd.
Q: Do you serve drinks & alcohol? Can we bring our own in?
A: We sell water, soda, Iced coffee and sports juices. We are allowing guests to bring their own Beer & Wine with proof of age. Restrictions do apply. Bottles with tops, cans and cups with tops are permitted at the tables only, and not on the player buzzers/podium area.
Q: Do you serve food or snacks?
A: We have bags of chips, popcorn, assorted movie-size candy bars/boxes for sale at the front counter.
Guests who choose a 2 hour or longer event are permitted to bring in their own cold food or pizza for the front lobby.
Guests who wish to order pizza are encouraged to order from Pipers Scratch Pizza Kitchen (located right up the road on US 19) , and will get a 15% off discount for the order. You can call Pipers at (727) 223-4006 We also recommend FIREHOUSE SUBS which is located just one traffic light away from our venue. In some cases they are able to deliver as well.
Q: Do we win actual prizes?
A: While we DON'T give away prizes to bookings on a daily basis, we do have monthly prizes sponsored by local businesses. They can range from $250 Cash, to Flat Screen TVs, Bucs Tickets and more. For info on the current prizes and how you can win them, go to the WIN STUFF page.
